500000m² - Rose

Oserian, Kenya

Certhon realized a heating system for roses, based on a geothermal heat source. It is the largest project worldwide where geothermal heat is used for greenhouse heating. Besides the heating system in the 500.000 m2 nursery , a 4.000m long stainless steel pipe has been laid for transport of carbon dioxide, which is a waste product of a generator driven by geothermal steam.
